  1. Thank you for publicising my Story of St Katharine’s book launch on the 28th. It went very well and people were very interested in the Talk, which covered from the 11 century Royal Hospital and Church which was destroyed to make way for the Telford Docks, its decline and the resurrection by Taylor Woodrow in the 1970’s, leading to the yacht haven and now the world famous marina we have today; the book is on sale at Nauticalia at £9.99. The Lady Daphne was a splendid venue, plenty of room for 80+ people to sit in comfort, with good bar (and toilet facilities). She was also ideal because of her historical connection with Taylor Woodrow, who brought her to the Docks and owned her for many years. Incidentally, Robin Knox-Johnston crewed for her while harbour master!
